Our Story
Originally from the US and the UK, we decided to move to France in 2011 after falling madly in love with this country. Several years later, Alison's mother came from the US to visit us. We wanted her to be as comfortable as possible, so we started looking for new bedding. We found that it was extremely difficult to find soft, high quality bedding at an affordable price.
This experience made us realise that there was a real opportunity to democratize access to luxury bedding in France. We decided to develop a range of beautiful bed linen that is manufactured responsibly, taking care of those who produce it and those who sleep in it. We have also decided to cut out all the middlemen so that these savings are passed on directly to you, our customers.

We want you to feel great about buying from La Chambre, so we have chosen recyclable or reusable packaging and we will never send you anything packed in plastic. 10 trees are planted for each purchase which will offset 3 tonnes or 43% of your CO2 for one year (average carbon emissions per capita in France is 6.9 tonnes).
We have also decided to import real American 5 star customer service to France. We offer you 90 days to wash, try and sleep in your sheets. If for any reason you wish to return your purchase, you can no questions asked.
