Its headquarters are located in Spain, where some of the products are manufactured. Zara home was born on August 1, 2003, when the first store was opened in Marbella, Spain. The first store was opened in France in 2012, in Levallois-Perret.

The duvet cover sizes for children's beds are 100x120 and 150x220, with some designs going up to size 220x220. Zara Home also offers bed sets that include a duvet cover and matching pillowcase. The price of the children's bed linen ranges from 15.99€ for a duvet cover in 100x120 and up to 45.99 for a duvet cover in 220x220.
Zara home and the environment
In 2012, under pressure from Greenpeace, Zara pledged to strengthen the implementation of its policy of banning environmentally harmful substances (including nonylphenols highlighted in tests conducted by Greenpeace). The brand has also proposed a timetable for the short-term elimination of the most dangerous chemical substances such as PFCs (perfluorochlorides) and azo dyes (which can degrade into carcinogenic aromatic amines). This commitment is good news for the environment. Since then, the company has kept its promises and made public the data on the discharge of hazardous products from its 100 or so suppliers (40 of which are located in China). Chemicals are one thing, but the thousands of kilometers Zara products travel from production to sale, through to manufacture, are another. The company still has a long way to go before becoming eco-responsible.
