Yves Saint-Laurent represents elegance à la Française. Avant-garde and refined, the talent of this discreet man is matched only by his will. Once revealed by Christian Dior, Yves Saint-Laurent, born in 1936 and died in 2006, left behind an empire. The Yves Saint Laurent fashion house still exists, and now offers two haute couture collections a year, as well as luxury ready-to-wear, costume jewellery, bags and luxurious home decorations. As far as bed linen is concerned, Yves Saint-Laurent has not yet created a collection of duvet covers.
The history of Yves Saint-Laurent
Yves Saint-Laurent started his career in fashion very early. Born in Oran, he became a designer for Dior at the age of 21, as soon as he arrived in Paris. After meeting Pierre Bergé, he opened his own fashion house, which would bear his name, financed by an American billionaire. The house of Yves-Saint-Laurent will shake up the codes, his creations are inspired by the world, he will be the first to parade models of African or Asian origin. Yves Saint-Laurent spent his life surrounded by women of character, they were an inexhaustible source of inspiration for him. Certain creations such as the Mondrian dress, the safari jacket or the tuxedo and the women's trouser suit will remain a reference.
Yves Saint-Laurent duvet covers
You won't find any duvet covers with the Yves Saint-Laurent logo on the bed linen market. The fashion house has not yet launched a range for the bedroom. If you come across a duvet cover printed with the famous YSL logo, it will most likely be a counterfeit, and therefore a fraudulent use of the brand, which does not respect the legal framework. If you want to buy luxury bed linen, only a few houses have created collections. You can find Sonia Rykiel duvet covers, Calvin Klein duvet covers or Ralph Lauren duvet covers. But the big houses like Dior, Chanel, have not yet created bed linen.
