Duvet cover Gucci
The very famous Gucci brand was created by Guccio Gucci in 1921. Originally it was a small leather goods store, which expanded into the equestrian world. Its headquarters are based in Florence, Italy. Today, it specializes in luxury ready-to-wear and leather goods. The Italian brand has also developed jewellery and watches. It is headed by Alessandro Michele and belongs to the Kering group, founded by François Pinault, which owns Yves-Saint-Laurent, Boucheron, Bottega Veneta and Alexander McQueen, among others.
Gucci's vision
Gucci today defines itself as an innovative and charismatic brand. Their vision of fashion is modern and luxurious. Gucci's designs are eclectic, contemporary, romantic and embody Italian craftsmanship, quality and attention to detail.
Gucci's ethical code
On its website, the Gucci brand clearly displays its ethical code, a manifesto created by François Pinault, the director of the Kering group, affirming the group's social and environmental values. Kering is committed to respecting human rights at every link in the chain, fighting against forced labour, child labour and the exploitation of the most vulnerable, especially migrants. The group is also committed to denouncing any violence or discrimination, particularly against women. Finally, the company's code of ethics defines its commitment to the planet. The group's brands tend to minimize their impact on the environment, it is at the heart of their concerns. With this code of ethics, François Pinault sets an example and tends to show that the companies of the group are citizens, responsible and involved.
Buy a Gucci duvet cover
The luxury company Gucci divides its products into several categories: women's, men's, children's, beauty, home décor, and gifts. The decor category sells everything from scented candles to wallpaper for the home. But no bed linen is listed on their site. So Gucci does not do duvet covers.
Gucci duvet covers on sale on e-commerce sites
Major retailers such as Amazon, Cdiscount, and many others offer duvet covers and pillowcases with the Gucci logo and colours. However, it is difficult to know if the creation of these products respects the legal framework. To get an idea of where the product comes from, you have to look at the price. When you know that a scented candle from Gucci costs around 400€, it is likely that a bed linen set of dubious taste is sold for 200€.
