Who is Yves Delorme?
Yves Delorme was born in 1922 and died in 2007. In the 1980's, he met Dominique Fremaux, who is none other than the descendant of Ernestine Fremaux, the first woman to create a linen weaving mill in Lille in 1845. The two friends joined forces to found the Yves Delorme brand, which produces and distributes high-end bed linen. They opened subsidiaries in the United States, Great Britain, and then in China. Today the brand is distributed in more than 450 points of sale in 45 countries. Since 2002, the brand belongs to the Fremaux-Delorme group.

Opt for a duvet cover La Chambre Paris
If the Yves Delorme brand offers quality bed linen, it does not communicate on its environmental policy. Except for the few luxury models, made in France which benefits from a short circuit, the rest of the collection remains silent on its country of manufacture and on the origin of the raw materials used. A lack of transparency that makes us doubt the luxury appellation that the brand attributes to itself. At La Chambre Paris, we have reinvented luxury. For us, luxury is a matter of quality from the selection of raw materials. Our linen and cotton have been cultivated in Europe, without the addition of pesticides, to obtain pure fabric fibers and to manufacture healthy and silky bed linen. Our workshops are located in Portugal, it is a small family business that designs our duvet covers, thanks to their century-old know-how.
