Alinéa is a decorating brand with a Mediterranean character. This French decoration and furnishing company belongs to the shareholders of the Mulliez family association (AFM), which owns Décathlon, Saint-Maclou and Auchan among others. Alinéa was created in 1988 in the city of Avignon by Alain Mitaux, a manager of Auchan stores. Today, the brand has 38 stores in France, and an online store that offers furniture, decoration and bed linen. While the brand resembles the giant Ikea in many ways, Alinéa stores have earned their success by associating themselves with TV decoration shows.

Sold as bed sets or duvet covers alone, Alinéa's online catalogue sells 77 different items, in cotton, percale, satin and linen. The duvet covers have names that often evoke the south: agapanthus, pistou, vine, amphora ... The Alinéa duvet cover collection offers many trendy patterns and colours, in all existing duvet cover sizes. Prices range from 22€ to 199€.
Duvet covers for children
At Alinéa you will find 30 cotton duvet covers for children and babies. For baby beds, duvet covers are available in sizes 100x140 or 120x140. For single beds, you will find duvet covers in 140x200. The price of children's duvet covers varies between 25 and 40 euros. Duvet covers are only sold in sets, i.e. with a matching pillowcase.
Alinéa and the environment
Alinéa stores are said to be committed to a number of ecological initiatives. Some of the wooden furniture, particularly teak, is awarded the FSC label, which aims to protect and preserve natural communities and forests with high conservation value. As for bed linen, the linen has the European flax label, a label that promotes the origin, know-how and premium quality of the fibre. The brand also makes greater use of the rail network for deliveries, in order to reduce its carbon footprint.
