But speaking of our pillowcases and silk, where do they come from? Well, in order for you to get the best silk pillowcase possible, we decided to make these pillowcases in an eco-responsible workshop in China, and more exactly in Suzhou. Located in the heart of the silk expert country, our factory is committed to producing the highest quality pillowcases (grade 6A), certified STANDARD OEKO-TEX, in a healthy environment for the employees, and also without any chemical or toxic product for the planet or the health.
The silk is harvested in a field named Ningnan County in Sichuan Province.

In order to preserve its virtues, and to make your pillowcase last over time, we advise you to choose the delicate mode at 30°C maximum on your washing machine. You will have to put your pillowcase in a laundry net, and use an adapted detergent. If you do not have a net, put your silk pillowcase in a cotton pillowcase.
As for the detergent, you will need a detergent for delicate fibers. It will have a neutral pH and will not contain any bleach or bleaching agent or enzyme.
As for the frequency, since silk is antibacterial, you can opt for a frequency equal to once or twice a month.
If you do not have a washing machine, you can wash by hand with warm water not exceeding 30°C. Avoid rubbing, wringing, or soaking the fabric. You can add a few drops of white vinegar to bring out the shine of your pillowcase.
For drying, the best option is to lay your pillowcase flat on your bed. You can also hang it up without a clothespin.
Do not use a dryer or direct heat sources (sun, radiator, etc.)! However, you can iron your pillowcase when it is still wet, at a low temperature. Do not use steam irons!
